Nissan Tekton priced from Rs 10.49 lakh, up to Rs 50,000 more than Duster

Nissan's new Tekton SUV starts at Rs 10.49 lakh, priced up to Rs 50,000 higher than its platform-mate, the Renault Duster.

Nissan India has launched the new Tekton SUV with prices starting from Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), offered across six variants — Visia, Visia Plus, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna Plus — going up to Rs 18.59 lakh. Deliveries begin 20 July, and customers can book the SUV online or at dealerships with a Rs 21,000 payment.

The Tekton shares its platform with the Renault Duster and will be manufactured at Renault’s facility in Tamil Nadu. The Duster is offered in five variants — Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno Plus and Iconic — priced from Rs 10.29 lakh to Rs 18.09 lakh, though the Rs 10.29 lakh starting price applied only to customers who pre-booked by March 2026, after which the standard price rose to Rs 10.49 lakh.

The Tekton offers one more variant than the Duster and is priced up to Rs 50,000 higher across the lineup. Both SUVs will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Volkswagen Taigun in the Indian mid-size SUV segment.

Both models are built on the shared Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform, with nearly identical dimensions: the Tekton measures 4,348mm in length and 2,657mm in wheelbase, matching the Duster, though it is 2mm wider and 18mm taller.
