GTU Just Declared Two Results at Once — Here’s How Gujarat Students Can Check Theirs

Gujarat Technological University declared the DIPL Semester 6 Regular and BCA Semester 3 Remedial results for the May 2026 session on 10 July 2026.

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) declared results for two separate examinations on the same day, 10 July 2026 — the Diploma (DIPL) Semester 6 Regular result and the BCA Semester 3 Remedial result, both from the May 2026 examination session. The announcement affects final-year diploma students across Gujarat’s affiliated technical colleges as well as BCA students who had appeared for a backlog paper.

Students can check either result by visiting the official result portal gturesults.in or the university’s main website gtu.ac.in, then entering their enrollment number along with their seat number. Once submitted, the portal displays subject-wise marks, the semester performance index (SPI), the cumulative grade point average (CGPA), and the overall pass or fail status.

GTU has clarified that the result published online is provisional, not the final academic record. The signed marksheet will be issued separately by each student’s respective institute at a later date, so students are advised to download and save a copy of the online result immediately after checking it.

Students who are unhappy with their marks have a narrow window to act. GTU is accepting online recheck or reassessment applications through gturesults.in until 13 July 2026, after which the window closes. The process is generally limited to theory papers, requires a per-subject fee, and — importantly — the revised marks are treated as final even if they turn out lower than the original score.

To pass, GTU requires a minimum of 35 percent marks in each subject, combining internal assessment and external examination components. For students converting their CGPA to a percentage, GTU uses the formula: Percentage equals (CGPA minus 0.5) multiplied by 10.

GTU, headquartered in Ahmedabad, runs examinations twice a year — a Winter session in December and a Summer session in May — across programmes including Diploma, BE/B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, B.Pharm and M.Pharm at its affiliated colleges throughout Gujarat.
